This Product is transparent and will show the base coat through the finish.  It is recommended to spray over a metallic silver or chrome powder. This can also be used over polished surfaces with out a base coat.  Applying over a polished surface will have the highest shine, however applying over polished or chrome surfaces may be more prone to chipping.  Candy / transparent colours are considered tinted clear coats and have the durability and protection of a regular clear coat.  *When coating in 2-3 stages, always particularly cure the base coat around 50-75% of the recommended cure schedule to allow the top coat to properly cross-link with the base coat. This method of curing will result in the best possible bond between coats.

Green Glow Pigment (71)

Sold by the oz

Glow in the dark pigments are not transparent, they will give your base coat colour a washed out look when applying over top of darker colours. These pigments work best when applying over lighter colours like white. This can be mixed right into the base coat but will have a stronger look if applied in a inter-coat clear over top of a white base coat. These pigments are heavy and need to be mixed constantly. Be careful when using a gravity feed gun for liquid applications as the pigment will settle very fast and drop to the bottom. Always work on practice panels first to make sure you are achieving the look you want. These pigments will slightly change the hue of the base coat.

With liquid paint, 1 oz will mix 1 Pint
With Powder coating, 1 oz will mix 0.5 lbs of powder
