BLACK ICE METALLIC

Description
Black Ice Metallic is the black that goes beyond basic. It’s a deep, sleek black base with a wild pop of silver flake that’s sure to turn heads. This is our most popular black metallic, perfect for when you want a little extra sparkle in your life. But don’t just stop there—this color requires a clear coat to fully unleash its full effect, giving you that glossy, eye-catching finish that’s both sleek and bold. Whether you’re coating automotive parts, wheels, or any custom project, Black Ice Metallic will give your work that perfect blend of dark elegance and sparkling personality.

Want to try something extremely wild?
Use Black Ice Metallic as a base for any candy color! The candy color will give the base a subtle tint when applied, but when the light hits, the metallic flakes pop, revealing the true candy effect. For example, apply Jollipop Red over Black Ice Metallic, and in the dark, the finish will appear black with a red hue. But once the light hits it, the metallic flakes will shine through, creating a stunning red sparkle that adds depth and vibrance. It’s a dramatic transformation that takes your custom project to the next level.  This is even more wild on Heavy metal black that has a much larger flake.

*Clear Coat Recommended, will Improved Mar Resistance and will improve the over all look and depth of the metallic finish.  *When coating in 2-3 stages, always particularly cure the base coat around 50-75% of the recommended cure schedule to allow the top coat to properly cross-link with the base coat. This method of curing will result in the best possible bond between coats. Over curing the base coat can cause possible delamination between coatings.
