For Stainless or Cold Rolled Steel.
Stainless Compound is made of “alumina” and grease binders. Developed for use on stainless steel, its fast cutting and good coloring properties are also a favorite for buffing all types of steel.
To remove sanding scratches from stainless, start out using a sisal buffing wheel with the Super Sisal Compound #F515-6154. You can then work your way up to a spiral sewn cotton buff using the All Purpose Stainless Compound, F-515-6147.
For a final high luster finish, use a loose cotton buffing wheel or canton flannel buff with the F515-6113 White Lightning Rouge.

Our most popular grade because it is adaptable for cutting down and coloring the average run of aluminum, brass, and die cast metals. Also used extensively for buffing copper plated articles, particularly where a regular Tripoli Compound is too severe and removes too much of the copper-plate. Contains a sufficient amount of grease binders to be used on most automatic buffing applications.

C3776 Yellow Buffing Compound Canada
This compound is similar to the White Buffing Bar, but is a greasier bar, which allows it to adhere to the wheel better.
This is an optional bar that can be used to bring a bright mirror finish to the part your are polishing. This is a water soluble bar, making for an easier clean up.
Excellent choice for stainless steel, can also be used on Aluminum, Titanium, soft metals like brass, copper, zinc, white metals, and others other non-ferrous metals
BROWN/TRIPOLI BAR
The familiar brown or chocolate colored cakes of Tripoli Buffing Compound are one of the oldest and most widely used buffing compositions for cutting down and bringing out a high luster on non-ferrous metals. Its fast cutting and bright coloring action on such metals have created its wide use on all types of zinc die castings, sheet and cast brass, copper-plated work and aluminum castings and stampings.
For buffing down castings and stampings, a greasy grade is most generally selected because the extra percentage of grease binders keeps the compound on the buff face longer and hence the cutting action is greater. A second buffing operation using a drier grade of Tripoli Compound, can be used if a smoother and brighter finish is required. Practical with any type of buffing wheel but generally used on a tight, spiral sewed buff, pocket type buff or bias type buff.
